FATHER'S DAY

God has been so faithful that this day is a day worth celebrating for some children and wives while to some it is a day not to be chosen on the calendar for fathers due to their traumatic experiences with their father or those who father them and the torment some woman had with the father of their children. But in all,  the faithfulness of God remains and that is why the past pains, traumas, torments, fears, angers and whatever might have developed in our heart against those who father us must be released off our mind so that we can move on with life because life or time has never been on hold because of whatever bitter experiences we might have gone through or we are going through.

I grew up in the family of five and we are only two boys who never get close to their father because of his personal principles and way of discipline but rather choose to like him or show love to him when needs of weekend Yoghurt and Sunday Kunu zaki are met. Every other day are lived with fears but later in life, our mother who we see as our Alpha and Omega left us to be with the Lord and that made a drastic shift of our love to our father. 

Atimes our father's take some certain decision for us that they are sorry for but as a man they will tender their apologise in actions and not words which we get to know as children as we respond back, even though at first we feel like rejecting them.

A father will always be a father no matter what. A man who is full of responsibilities, who will not let go of his ego for any course, he relate to people based on the way they present themselves even if he have to take advantage of them atimes, always want to ease his emotions by all means through any means, he will rather take a quiet decision towards a course than letting it out in words, he will never give up to be defeated even when he knows he will be defeated.

My earthly father might be faulty and full of unaccommodating characters that pieces me off, but yet I will love Him. I decided to love my father who hath in heaven also out of the abundant love he has loved me because in Him their is no default, discouragement, molestation, arrogance, or whatsoever negative tag you might have against your earthly father.

Forgive and let go of the past. Let your heavenly father teach your earthly father what is right to do to you by commiting him into God's hand rather than judging him and hating him. Celebrate your father now that you still have him with you and if he has gone to be with the Lord, sit back to let go of the pains he has caused you and move on. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL FATHER'S DAY.
